4 Types of Team Members:

Low Capability, Low Commitment (C Player)
- Solution: Make one or two attempts to develop capability and commitment.
- If no reciprocation, fire them guilt-free.

Low Capability, High Commitment (B — Commitment Person):( ^your Romance)
- Leave a blank check with this person.
- Acknowledge their efforts and elevate them by making them leaders.
- Mentor them on leadership skills.
- Distinguish between truly committed individuals and conveniently
committed ones ->> through support and challenges.
- Be careful while promoting them as leaders (as they might have A players reporting to them)

High Capability, Low Commitment (B*— Capable):(Son in laws!^your need)
- Give credit where due, acknowledge results.
- Challenge them to improve commitment level (Have an ego so challenge them)
- Provide support for training and development.
- Identify truly committed individuals; fire those who don’t reciprocate.
- Manage your emotions when dealing with them

High Capability, High Commitment (20% are A Players): (Superheroes)
- Acknowledge and express gratitude.
- Elevate them by making them leaders.
- Provide continuous support for growth and development.
- Mentor them how to lead (as they will start doing everything themselves)
