Ideas don’t come out fully formed.

They only become clear as you work on them.

The first word that an entrepreneur and a scientist would agree upon is “Serendipity… making desirable discoveries by accident”.

In a complex situation, there are no maps. By definition, a complex situation precludes the possibility of a fixed/defined path. Sitting in the middle of a path if you are lost in a jungle won’t take you anywhere. It’s only by taking an action, then analysing the feedback and iterating multiple times can we reach the destination.

And then we begin again.

Action and Analysis need to go hand in hand — guided by an understanding that complexity and predictability are inversely proportional. Plus all predictable ventures are usually low reward games.

You can apply this to your career or a project you are working on or cooking a recipe or solving a maths numerical !

11:54 The idea of a single eureka moment is a dangerous lie. It makes us feel inadequate since we haven’t had ours.

12:03 It prevents people with seeds of good ideas from getting started.
