While some may find the above challenging to grasp, that’s perfectly fine.
Each of you has expertise in your respective fields, which I may not be well-versed in. It took me a considerable amount of time to truly value professionals—those who specialize in specific domains. And pay them !
Take handling finances, for instance; I might assume competence, but professionals often bring valuable insights.
Similarly, in activities like running, where I may believe in my effectiveness, a professional coach can provide unique expertise.
An adept professional possesses distinctive insights, employs clever shortcuts, and harbors a repertoire of tricks, all commensurate with the fees she commands. And she has devoted her life and resources to learn that.
This might be obvious to you, but recognizing the instances where seeking and compensating professionals is necessary — has been a gradual step by step realization for me!
Inversely, this realisation motivates me to seek mastery in my profession — especially when aiming for a better compensation for my efforts ☺️.
